If you're interested, at all, in botany, horticulture, animals, conservation, reduce/reuse/recycle, medicinal herbs and the energies they produce, then go straight to Manuel at the Bonaire Botanical Gardens. Unlike the botanical gardens you will find elsewhere in the world, Manuel has transformed his home into a natural pharmacy full of healing plants, herbal remedies, children's activities created out of repurposed furniture, and a working farm with chickens, pigs and rabbits. What he has created is truly admirable. His depth of knowledge about all things horticulture and the body is mesmerizing.
